Our Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE) coordinator, Julie, will streamline the process for you from first contact to the follow-up care after the procedure.
Julie C. Orlando is a board certified Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist, with 17 years of experience. She has been involved in multiple research trials for PAE in the treatment of BPH. She has first-hand technical experience with the procedure having assisted in numerous PAE procedures. She also has clinical trial experience which includes gathering and analyzing data for US Studies on PAE.
She has co-authored manuscripts published in nationally recognized peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Vascular & Interventional Radiology. In addition, she lectures on the subject of BPH and PAE at national meetings, including The Association of Vascular and Interventional Radiographers Meeting.
